Domestic potassium news | The price of Potassium chloride has temporarily stabilized, and the large import volume is still the main pressure

2023 07/19

With the launch of the market in autumn, the price of urea is firm, and the sales of Potassium chloride, which has fallen below the new cost, have slightly improved. However, the huge number of imports makes it difficult for the industry to build confidence in the rebound. Except for a few small increases, the overall price of Potassium chloride is basically stable. It is reported that the import volume of Potassium chloride in June reached 1.05 million tons, and the total import volume in the first half of the year was about 5.22 million tons, which is a historical high. At present, the price of 62% white potassium at the port is mostly around 2350-2400 yuan/ton, and the price of large orders can still be negotiated.

The supply of Potassium sulfate is still tight and the price is firm. The inventory of Mannheim Potassium sulfate manufacturer is basically zero, and the orders are in line. The factory price of 52% of all water-soluble powder is firm at about 3100-3200 yuan/ton; Most of the resource-based Potassium sulfate is still under repair, and the available inventory in the factory has bottomed out. The supply of goods can only be improved after the resumption of production in September.
