In addition to the upcoming urea import bidding in India, the demand in the east of Suez is flat, but the supply is still tight. The price of urea particles in China has increased by about 45 US dollars per ton this week, reaching FOB380-400 US dollars per ton. There is almost no spot in Southeast Asia in the short term, so traders are turning their attention to the Middle East and booking the source of goods at FOB400 USD/ton.
The prices of ammonium sulfate and Ammonium nitrate also rose again, but the increase was generally lower than that of urea.
As prices rise, demand in non seasonal markets such as Europe and the United States may slow down, and India's urea bidding should be an important market for the upcoming August.

With the rise in nitrogen prices in Europe and factories continuing to produce quantitatively, price sentiment has stabilized this week. The standard ammonium sulfate price is $144- $183 per ton FOB. The supply of granular ammonium sulfate is tight, and the FOB price in Northwestern Europe is 260-310 dollars/ton.
According to the latest quotation and transactions reached, the FOB price of Chinese standard ammonium sulfate is estimated to be 135-145 US dollars per ton this week. In August, there may be 10000 to 15000 tons of standard ammonium sulfate shipped to Africa at FOB prices of 130 to 135 US dollars per ton. This week, the supplier's quotation for late August/early September shipments increased to FOB prices of $150 to $155 per ton. However, as the buyer's target price is still around $130- $135 per ton FOB, no transaction was reached at these prices. The price of MMA grade ammonium sulfate has slightly increased, with FOB prices in China this week ranging from $115 to $120 per ton. The estimated FOB price for extruded particles this week is $170- $185 per ton. Due to the continued strong demand from Brazilian importers, the procurement time for goods is in August and early September, in preparation for the corn application season in November. Therefore, prices have increased this week compared to last week. In addition, the soaring prices of raw materials and urea have supported the higher prices of extruded ammonium sulfate particles. This week, there is a transaction for 5000 tons of extruded granular ammonium sulfate, priced at around $160 per ton, which will be shipped in August; The transaction price for another 6000 to 8000 tons of extruded granular ammonium sulfate is between $180 to $190 per ton, which will be shipped at the end of August.
Atlas in the Philippines purchased 8000 tons of standard ammonium sulfate at a cost of approximately $160 per ton and shipped it to Sangi Port in August.
